Notes

"Ninths" is an extra piece from Anna's Butterss's Mighty Vertebrate sessions, previously only available on the Japanese CD edition.

The track kicks into gear with a gritty, almost post-punk sounding electric guitar figure from Gregory Uhlmann before the woozy and rhythmic drum kit of Ben Lumsdaine enters to drag the listener along in polyrhythm. Butterss's longtime collaborator and comrade Josh Johnson’s alto sax holds down the almost synth-like primary melody while drones and chirps build up in the periphery. "Ninths" almost sounds like Pornography-era Robert Smith went to jazz school and reconfigured the OG Ocarina of Time soundtrack.

Shipping & Returns

Orders ship from our Chicago warehouse. In North America, records and other media go out via USPS Media Mail with tracking. International orders also ship from Chicago via USPS; any customs duties or import fees are paid on delivery unless collected at checkout. Outside North America, our international store ships many titles from warehouses in Europe and the UK, so VAT is included and there are usually no import fees on delivery, and it's often faster and cheaper.

Anything ordered together with a pre-order ships when the pre-order arrives, so place a separate order if you'd like in-stock items sooner. Print-on-demand merch is made to order and ships separately.

If something arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email orders@intlanthem.com with your order number and a photo and we'll make it right.
